OFF-ROAD TRAILS

Timberline Campground

  • 30 mins from our location
  • ATV, UTV, dirtbike, mountain bike, fish
  • Deer, moose, pronghorn, elk
  • Easy fun trail system with some climbs, smaller rocks, stream crossings (KID SAFE)
  • Some trails go through trees, some are wide open areas
  • Amazing in fall for aspen leaves
  • Trailhead directions

Red Cone / Webster Pass / Handcart Gulch

  • 45 min from our location
  • Preferably UTV. Definitely need experience for dirt bike or ATV
  • 360 mountain views but very challenging
  • Large rocks, steep cliffs, narrow bumpy trails...hard to pass
  • Not recommended for beginners 
  • Mountain goats, big horn sheep
  • Trailhead directions

Slaughterhouse Gulch

  • 15 min from our location
  • ATV, dirtbike, UTV 
  • 11 mile loop, mostly in trees but does have some good views
  • Some experience is recommended for ATVs and dirtbikes due to steep sections, large rocks and seasonal stream crossings

Argentine Pass

  • 1 hour from our location
  • Jeep, UTV, ATV, dirtbike
  • Mountain goats, big horn sheep, bears

Tarryall Reservoir Trails

  • 1 hour from our location
  • Many trails and campsites
  • Good fishing at Tarryall Reservoir and Tarryall Creek
  • China Wall
  • Very OHV friendly: easy trailer parking and loading/unloading area, safe street crossings
  • elk, deer, pronghorn, moose

Twin Cone

  • 45 mins from our location
  • ATV, dirtbike, UTV
  • Only about 2 hour ride
  • Lots of moose

Taylor Park Reservoir

Taylor Park Reservoir

  • 3 hours from our location but has 300+ miles of trails, from beginner to advanced
  • OHV friendly town, able to ride from camp straight to general store and even take ATVs on the beach at Taylor Reservoir
  • St. Elmo ghost town
  • Great fishing 

Lost Park

  • 45 mins from our location
  • ATV, dirtbike, UTV, hike, bike
  • moose, deer, elk, pronghorn

Rampart Range

Rampart Range

  • 1 hour from our location (close to Denver/CO springs)
  • dirtbike or ATVs (NO UTV over 50")
  • over 100 miles of trails that are well labeled based on skill level
  • well maintained trails, but views are limited as they are mostly in trees

                  These are ONLY SOME of the more popular places to ride, fish, kayak, hike, camp, etc. 

                  There are many more options, so give us a call and we can help you choose the one that is best for YOU. 


                  Don't fall for the paid campsites with no views and lots of rules. We can tell you exactly where to camp for free. Whether you want to camp close to water, right off the trail, far away from others, mountain views or all of the above... give us a call for more recommendations.
